The project of management of public use and protection of the coastline and dunes of Sa Canova is located in execution. There are intercoms connected to emergency phone. SA Cánova is a somewhat peculiar Beach-dune system than what is common in the Mediterranean. In this case the dunes are developed in longitudinally, with crests dune oriented approximately in direction North-South, parallel to the prevailing wind in the area, but oblique to the coastline and penetrating inland until almost 2 km. from the coast.
